English heavy metal icons Satan are back and will tour the United States this fall. Originally arising from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal scene, Satan influenced bands with their speed metal style that would later inspire the development of thrash metal. Metalheads of all generations will want to catch Satan live as the band has shown little sign of slowing down or softening up. Satan still plays devilishly hard and heavy music.

Satan will support Venom Inc. on their Better to Reign in Hell Part II 2023 tour. Venom Inc. is the project created to continue the legacy of the legendary black metal pioneers Venom and features the band’s original guitarist Jeffrey “Mantas” Dunn. Joining Satan in supporting Venom Inc. on this tour are the metalcore band Ringworm and death metal group 72 Legions.

In addition to the twelve-city tour with Venom Inc., there will be three dates on which Satan will headline their own show. Satan will play The Black Circle in Indianapolis, IN on October 2nd, Pipers in Pompano Beach on October 8th, and Conduit in Orlando, FL on October 9th.

In addition to playing the classics on the tour, Satan will be promoting their sixth full-length album, Earth Infernal. The album was released via Metal Blade Records last year and received an enthusiastic response from metal critics. In a milestone for the band, Earth Infernal entered the German charts at position #12, the highest Satan has ever charted.

Earth Infernal Track Listing:
01. Ascendancy
02. Burning Portrait
03. Twelve Infernal Lords
04. Mercury’s Shadow
05. A Sorrow Unspent
06. Luciferic
07. From Second Sight
08. Poison Elegy
09. The Blood Ran Deep
10. Earth We Bequeath

Longtime fans of Satan were excited to find the band not only still playing as hard as they originally did but had even expanded on their sound. In addition to the high level of musicianship, the lyrics on Earth Infernal are particularly deep and intelligent. Earth Infernal has a serious environmental message in addition to shredding guitars.

For two years, the world has been preoccupied with politics and pandemics, and while we were all looking the other way our planet has continued to get hotter. Our Earth is now infernally hot. Almost irreversibly so. We are on a one-way trip to Hell and dragging our children along with us. Yes, Satan has something to say about global warming.
— said guitarist Russ Tippins
