Boston natives, Sounds & Scenarios have released their second single of the year. The song starts off with a classic riff and lyrical hook, one could say a classic mix for a legendary summer pop punk song. The pop punk foursome started out as just a solo project in 2015 and evolved into the band that is known today as Tyler Chase on vocals/guitar, Braedon Rawa on guitar/backing vocals, Avery Jones on bass and John Marc Degaard on drums. The single Trouble Will Follow is about a Hinge match turned sour, but as we all have learned from pop punk over the years the worst relationship experiences turn out the best songs to scream along to when you are feeling the same.

If I can be blunt, I wrote the lyrics for ‘Trouble Will Follow’ after a Hinge match had come to our release show for Cherry Blossom Season. They had drank a bunch and then rather than listening to the other bands before us, they put their headphones in and blasted Machine Gun Kelly and sang along to it really loudly. It was super rude and selfish, and I just kind of word-vomited about the experience.

What’s special about ‘Trouble Will Follow’ is that it’s the perfect bridge between our old sound – what we’ve always been known for, really – and what’s to come. It’s heartfelt and bitter while showcasing this new heavier rock direction you’ll hear more of in the future.” True to the bands’ mantra, this song will sit nicely with their line up of ‘sad songs to stage dive to’.

My love for concert photography came from my scrolling on tumblr in my high school years, growing more after attending Warped Tour in 2012. Earning my associates degree in the arts from Cochise College in 2017, I started hunting for my next goal. I began my photojournalism journey in 2019 after working for my local newspaper taking shots of anyone and anything. I have a background of short documentaries, video interviewing and editorial shots. My friends tell me I have a plethora of band/music knowledge that I now hope to put to good use.
