Tales From The Pit: Bad Omens

On September 24th, I saw I SEE STARS, ERRA, and Bad Omens at KEMBA LIVE in Columbus, Ohio.

The first band to play was I See Stars, they were very active with the crowd, and the crowd was hyped up during their entire set. I never heard of them before but after hearing them live for the first time, I started to listen to them more. I recommend listening to them if you never have before.

The second band to play was ERRA, they put on an amazing performance. I wanted to see them play for a long time and after seeing them perform it was amazing to see. They were active with the crowd and gave amazing energy throughout the set. They tried to have people mosh but the pit was too small and crowded so it was hard but there were a lot of crowd surfers.

Lastly, Bad Omens went on, I wanted to see them for years and I was so happy when they started playing. During their performance, everyone was hyped up and it was just a good time. My sister and I had a blast, she was starting to annoy me by asking me ¨what song is this¨ during every song. She is a newer fan but loves the music after she saw them live.

During the song ¨Just Pretend¨ I started to cry along with some other fans, it was really emotional for me, my sister did not understand and was judging me the entire time.

During their last 2 songs Dethrone and Concrete Jungle, they left the stage and waited about 5 minutes before they came back out. Many people had left before they came back since they thought the concert was over but I told my sister to wait since I knew they would be coming back. My sister was really excited to see Dethrone the most but I was happy just to be there and to hear everything. When they played Dethrone they did their most favorite thing before they started the song. They made sure to get the crowd hyped up by saying ¨CONCRETE¨ and having us shout ¨JUNGLE¨ it made the performance a lot better.
