The WaterStriders Release 2 New Singles
A debut LP has been released for Athens, Greece quintet, The WaterStriders. “My Name is EXPECTATION” was released on November 04, 2022, via Old Bad Habits Label. The freshman album is a unique blend of indie rock and garage pop for members Manos Aretoulakis (vocals), Helias Koulouzis (bassist, backup vocals), Asterios Kotoulas (guitarist), and Giotis Petrellis (drummer). The WaterStriders have released two music videos for singles from the LP - “Can I Settle For A Night” and “Love Is A Friend.”
The debut was mixed and produced by Bob Katsionis. “My Name Is EXPECTATION” is as it sounds - an expectation of the album that focuses on life, friendship, love, and hypocrisy. Other singles from the release are “Punisher,” “Together Alone,” “Pictures, Creatures,” and “Turning In Your Grave.” The WaterStriders are booked for their first live debut of the album at Six d.o.g.s. on February 5th in Athens, Greece.
