True North Announces Tour With RIVALS + Unleashes New Single "Those Were The Days"

True North, the LA-based alternative emo band, have unveiled their summer-themed new single “Those Were The Days”, which features Emarosa vocalist; Bradley Walden, along with an accompanying music video.

Those Were The Days” is the type of nostalgic song you would listen to on a summer day at the beach or driving around with the windows down. The unique combination of True North’s signature alt-rock sound and Walden’s unique vocal style help create an addictive chorus that is very anthemic and bouncy. To me, “Those Were The Days” is the musical equivalent to looking through your high school yearbook or going through pictures of past memories you made with your friends and family. However the song aims to put the listeners through an experience of memories that we initially glorified but were actually ones we preferred to forget. The upbeat guitar playing from Ferber and Hansen help create the song’s summer vibe while Walden’s vocals add the depth that is needed to take fans on a special journey to the past.

True North is set to hit the road next week along with Mvsse to support RIVALS on their WORLDS WORST VALENTINE TOUR in the US. The summer trek will begin on June 6th in Orlando, Florida and will finish on June 24th in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

I’m a photographer from Long Island, NY. I’ve been going to shows for as long as I can remember and about three years ago, I took up photography as a hobby. Initially, I was only doing street photography and eventually I took my camera to shows and began shooting shows in Brooklyn and Long Island. I’m always looking for ways to improve my work and push beyond what I can do.
