T.S.O.L. Generates a Tsunami of Intensity on New Track, "Swimming"

Punk legends T.S.O.L. are back and as hard and raucous as they have ever been. Their new single, “Swimming” is an old-school style punk rock anthem.

T.S.O.L. first formed in 1978 and instantly made a splash in the Southern Californian hardcore scene with their irreverent style that influenced punk, hardcore, horror punk, and deathrock. The band would come to be known for their riotous gigs and decadent lifestyle. On “Swimming” T.S.O.L. leans into their notorious reputation.

“Yeah, I guess you could call me a hedonist or at least a selfish motherfucker who’s been mired too many times in the pleasure of the flesh, swimming in a blonde Sargasso sea,” said vocalist Jack Grisham

“Swimming” is off T.S.O.L.’s new album A-Side Graffiti. Their newest release is the first recording from T.S.O.L. since 2017’s The Trigger Complex. The 12 tracks on A-Side Graffiti are evidence that T.S.O.L. have not lost any of their characteristic fury in the four decades since first bursting onto the punk scene.

“Wonderful World” is a punked-up version of the beloved “What a Wonderful World” from jazz legend Louis Armstrong.

“I think it’s important for a band to keep pushing-trying new things. If not, you might as well do the county fair circuit. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. You’ve got to make a living somehow.”

- said Grisham
