unpeople Drop "the garden"
Fast-rising alternative rock band unpeople released their brand new single the garden a few weeks back and it still plays over and over in my head. It’s a fun video that shares the same quality of the single itself. One listen and the chorus immediately gets branded into your brain.
"'the garden' started off as a joke. An actual musical joke. A musical joke that we couldn’t stop singing for weeks on end. Lyrically, we wanted to keep it very simple and borderline surface level nonsensical. There is meaning but we'd rather leave that up to the listener to discern and interpret for themselves. Sometimes, you want to get away from it all, but simultaneously have a feeling of familiarity and a sense of security."
