Wallows in Las Vegas

“I’m so sad it’s over, but I definitely went out with the best show.” I found this comment online from a fan who has been to multiple shows on Wallows’ tour. It perfectly summed out how I felt when the show sadly ended after a three-song encore. Being in the out when you're a photographer is usually an amazing feeling, but this night was straight out of my dreams. At some points, it felt like it was just the band and me. I also felt so much passion from the band and the crowd that I couldn’t help but get lost in the energy. If you thought you loved Wallows’ songs, experiencing them live will make you love them more than you can possibly imagine. “Are You Bored Yet?” and “Especially You” are made for live shows. At one point during “1980s Horror Film II”, everyone in the crowd had their flashlights out and were singing so loud the band just took out their earpieces and watched in awe. It was one of those moments you see through videos online, and you get goosebumps just wishing you could be a part of something like that. To be a part of it.
