AngelMaker Releases New Track "Vengeance"
On October 13th, Northern Vancouver deathcore sextet, AngelMaker released the official music video for the brand new track "Vengeance". The new song and video highlight the release of the band's second 2-track EP Twilight, featuring "Vengeance" and B-side track, "The Great Grey Flame".
Speaking on the dawning of AngelMaker the release of "Vengeance", vocalist Mike Greenwood shares
"Going back the roots of Deathcore we present “Vengeance”. We wrote this song as an homage to the bands and songs that got us into Deathcore nearly 15 years ago. It’s got all the Old-school vibes; riffs, melody, and brutal breakdowns."
The two tracks on Twilight follow the band's previous two-track release Dawn, which dropped last month. Punctuated by an official music video for "Creator's Conscience" and featuring the B-side track "Eating The Body Of God". Between them, the tracks have clocked up 252,000 Spotify streams and 65,000 YouTube views since release.
AngelMaker levels listeners with a furious, focused, diverse, and violent extremity, creating deathcore of the highest order, injected with blackened thrash, a smattering of power violence, and the urgent ferocity of underground hardcore. AngelMaker summons the most brutal elements of Floridian death metal and combines it with the coldest permafrost of Scandinavian black metal, without the theatricality sometimes clouding the genres. The brand new music unleashed by AngelMaker in 2021, crafted in recent months with producer Tim Creviston (Spiritbox, Misery Signals, Vultures) and mixed and mastered by Will Putney (Thy Art Is Murder, Knocked Loose, Every Time I Die), is the band’s most confident and destructive yet.
