On August 17th, 2021, Blossoms released a new single titled “Care For”. This song, accompanied by a music video, is the first release since Blossoms’ “Christmas Eve (Soul Purpose)/It’s Going To Be A Cold Winter” in 2020. The song and video are full of good vibes and classic influences, making for a tune that’s perfect for late summer evenings.

Lead vocalist and guitarist Tom Ogden stated that he “spent a lot of lockdown listening to The Style Council, Diana Ross, John & Yoko’s Double Fantasy & Billy Ocean,” lending to this song’s 70s-inspired sound. With an ABBA-like intro and outfits to match in their music video, Blossoms has created a beautiful song with enchantingly sweet lyrics, right out of a late-night living room dance party with the love of your life. The video is psychedelic in the best ways, with beautiful production and camera work that fits the dreamlike sound of the song.

Blossoms have seen great success in their career so far, with nearly 500 million global streams and four UK top-5 albums. Since forming in 2013, and their debut full-length album in 2016, the band has amassed quite the following. With “Care For” being extremely well received so far, and fans ready for more, Blossoms is planning on releasing more music in the coming months.
