ELVENKING Sees the Daylight with “Throes of Atonement” Ahead of New Album

On November 29th the band ELVENKING released their new single called “Thrones Of Atonement”. Today I’m going to dive into their world of music and listen to the new track.
ELVENKING is a power/folk metal band from Italy. The formation consists of Damna (vocals), Aydan (guitar), Headmatt (guitar), Jakob (bass), Lethien (violin), and Symohn (drums). As well as making the single they dropped a music video created by an amazing artist René Berthiaume. The band is known from their trilogy “Reader of the Runes” that soon will end. On 8th January the preorders for the final chapter of the story “Luna” will start at the band's new shop.

The track “Thrones Of Atonement” starts with a very characteristic guitar for that music genre and the real history starts when the drums join in. Instruments blend perfectly with Damna’s voice. All of the parts of the song are incredibly powerful. The music visualizer is also a piece of art. As the camera moves through the forest and stops in several places during verses, we can see the true magic and mystery of the track.
I really love the song and it will for sure find its place on my playlist. I would like to sink deeper into their world of music and stories.
In 2025 we will be able to see ELVENKING on tour on Peganfest with Alestorm, Ensiferum, Týr, and Heidevolk. Catch them live!
