KoRn Celebrate 30 Years

Last Friday night at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Korn and Gojira delivered killer performances that were nothing short of legendary.

Gojira kicked things off with the track, “Born for One Thing”, and immediately the crowd went wild. Classics like "Stranded" and "Amazonia" got the crowd even more amped up, highlighting their unique, powerful melodies. The pyrotechnics were super cool, and in sync with every palm mute and chug! As one of my favorite bands, Gojira’s performance was truly something from another world.

As the stage transformed for Korn, the excitement reached an all-time high. From the moment they launched into "Here to Stay" the crowd erupted, singing along to every word. The setlist featured classics like "Blind”, “A.D.I.D.A.S.” and "Got the Life", along with one of my favorites, “Clown”.

Jonathan Davis’s vocals were hauntingly powerful, as always, and absolutely made the songs come alive! Head and Munky kicked ass as always with their groovy riffs and eerie stage presence. The light show added an extra layer of intensity, with visuals that perfectly complemented their heavy sound. The highlight of the night was undoubtedly the encore, where they closed with "Freak on a Leash", which was undoubtedly the perfect song to end the night.

Overall, the combination of Spiritbox, Gojira and Korn created an unforgettable evening filled with raw energy and intense emotion. This show was a reminder of the power of live music, if you get the chance to see this tour; don’t miss it!
