TEZATALKS Unleashes "The Revenge"

TeZATalks is a rap-rock goddess whose latest album, Black Girl American Horror Story, is out now and just in time for spooky season.

TeZATalks uses music to voice her beliefs concerning gender, body autonomy, and social awareness. Black Girl American Horror Story uses tropes of the horror genre to symbolize the often extreme highs and lows That TeZATalks has experienced in her own life..

Often referred to as a genre-defying artist, TeZATalks has created a new genre all her own and she calls it hardcore pop. Like surreal and spacey woman artists like Doja Cat and Poppy, TeZATalks doesn’t let herself be restricted to staying in one scene and being defined by it. The songs on Black Girl American Horror are a hallucinatory mix that takes the listener on a dream-like journey. “Elvira” is an alternative hip-hop track in the view of early Death Grips with an experimental flow and hypnotic beat. Her mastery of the mic on “Stopit!” shows that TeZATalks is one of the most underrated female rappers today. Nu-metal influences can be heard on “Breakshit,” while the electro-pop stylings of artists like Alice and Grimes resonate on “Goodgrrl.” On the tracks “Oxygen” and “The Revenge” TeZATalks slows things down and sings in a beautiful, melodic fashion. Her versatility is impressive and quickly becomes addictive. Don’t be scared to listen to Black Girl American Horror Story.

Black Girl American Horror Story is out now on all major streaming platforms.
