Lydia’s Castle Release “Search For You”

While most bands had to halt their careers when Covid-19 first stuck an unsuspecting world, Nashville band Lydia’s Castle was forged right in the raging fire of the pandemic. Lydia’s Castle was founded in 2020 by the husband and wife team Cody Denton and Tonya LeeAnne. With a passion for hard rock and metal, the couple sought to create new music that expressed the issues that they were currently dealing with.

With the blues-tinged guitar licks of Denton and the punk energy of LeeAnne’s vocals, the music of Lydia’s Castle is an explosive force unleashed. With the addition of Jon Wysocki in 2021, Lydia’s Castle finally had the right combination of talent to put their vision out into the world. Wysocki proved his hard rock credentials as an original member of Staind and a touring musician with Soil.

With the band fully formed, Lydia’s Castle went to work in the studio to record an EP. The as-of-now unnamed album has already resulted in the singles, “Falling Into Place” and “Phoenix.” The latest single is “Search for You.” The band’s newest single was written as a form of therapy.

Search For You is about one of the greatest losses of my life, and I wanted to channel that pain into something creative that can be shared with others and help myself, the band and so many others know they are not alone” says Tonya LeeAnne. “The great thing about music and good lyrics is that the listener can make the song their own, and become attached to it in their own way, which is exactly how I got into music to begin with.”

Lydia’s Castle plans to continue to release music throughout the year to stay connected with their fans. The group has already attracted a fanbase from playing regional shows. They have played alongside hard-rocking acts such as Diamanté, Renee Phoenix (Fit for Rivals), and If I Die First. With a consistent work ethic and a commitment to inspire others, 2022 is set to be a banner year for Lydia’s Castle.
