Nina Nesbitt Releases “Life’s A Bitch”

On September 24th, 2021, Nina Nesbitt released another new single “Life’s A Bitch (L.A.B.)” with a music video, following her recent success with “Summer Fling” and its acoustic counterpart.

Produced alongside duo Jack & Coke, “Life’s A Bitch” is as wonderful as ever - its synth-pop influences mixed with nostalgic stream-of-consciousness style lyrics are the perfect mark of Nesbitt’s style. The song is, as Nesbitt describes, “an ‘80s inspired, post-2020, driving-your-car-through-a tunnel-at-night song. A ‘dancing while crying, and smiling through the tears’ moment”; it’s a perfect follow up for “Summer Fling” and its acoustic counterpart, a longing for what could be better and pushing forward through the seasons. Paired with a comedic yet poignant music video, the song expertly discusses how you can only go so far from your struggles - sometimes, you need to admit that life’s a bitch and then push through it.

With Nina Nesbitt’s amazing success with her debut album The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change, the musician continues to raise the bar for herself as she releases new music. Her widespread success and recognition through collaborations and now two new singles marks a new era for Nesbitt, and we can’t wait to listen to more of this journey.
