Polyphia Shred in Tempe, AZ

On August 31st, instrumental rock band, Polyphia played a sold-out show in Tempe, AZ, at The Marquee Theatre with support from the German metal band, Unprocessed, who immediately had the crowd’s attention. The energy flowed throughout the venue with fans crowding, surfing, and bopping around to the music.

Finally, Polyphia took the stage, and the unique four-piece put on a phenomenal set that fans made sure not to miss. With their fourth album, Remember That You Will Die, due to release on October 28th, they opened their set with an unreleased single, “Genesis”. Despite the song not having lyrics, fans sang along to the sound of the band’s guitars, with many fans watching in awe. The band also performed fan favorites, “Playing God” and “40oz” with “G.O.A.T.” as part of their encore, as well as a cover of Pantera’s “Domination”. The four-piece had the crowd hanging on every last note all night long. All four musicians are masters of their instruments, and you could tell that everyone in the room respected them. If you have not listed to Polyphia before, they recently released a single titled “ABC” featuring Sophia Black, which you can view the music video for below.

Death Moth Press was an idea that seemed so far away but now it’s here!
