Protect Your Heart gives a “[re]introduction”

A band that is compared to the likes of A Day To Remember and influences from Sliverstein, Protect Your Heart, is making their own name in the scene.

With their debut LP [re]introduction being dropped in late October of this year, true pop-punk muscles were stretched in every song. From singles such as “Fireproof,” giving off a dark lyrical, emotional tone, to “Don’t Count Me Out,” serving the jumping-up-and-down-finger-pointing punk show vibes.

[re]introduction tracklisting:

  1. Best of Me

  2. Closer to the Grave

  3. Last To Love You

  4. Never Gonna Leave You

  5. Don’t Count Me Out

  6. Worst Side of Me

  7. Close To You

  8. Sorry

  9. Take Control

  10. Too Young To Die Alone

  11. Fireproof

  12. Fall Apart

  13. We Will Never Be Heroes

The band's album release show took place near their home base in Santa Ana, California, with support from local acts. While the band hasn’t announced any sort of tour yet, you can catch them on December 2nd for a Christmas Charity Show in Pomona.

Photographer & Writer

My love for concert photography came from my scrolling on tumblr in my high school years, growing more after attending Warped Tour in 2012. Earning my associates degree in the arts from Cochise College in 2017, I started hunting for my next goal. I began my photojournalism journey in 2019 after working for my local newspaper taking shots of anyone and anything. I have a background of short documentaries, video interviewing and editorial shots. My friends tell me I have a plethora of band/music knowledge that I now hope to put to good use.
