Sleeping With Sirens on The CTRL + ALT + DEL Tour
On August second, fans of all ages crowded into the Marquee in Tempe, AZ, to see Sleeping With Sirens on the CTRL + ALT + DEL Tour with support from Garzi, Point North, and Don Broco. After over a decade together, the band sure knows how to put on a show, and the fans keep on coming back. Many of us have been going to their shows since we were kids, and now as adults, we have made strong friendships with those that we have met in the crowd.
Kicking their set off with “Break Me Down,” Sleeping With Sirens played many of the classics and two of their singles off of their upcoming album Complete Collapse, which is due to release on October 14th can be pre-ordered here. The crowd sang along to “Crosses,” which was released back in June featuring Spencer Chamberlain of Underoath, and everyone knew the words to “Bloody Knuckles,” which came out a year prior. Since the show, the band has released two more singles which actually came out on the same day. The first of which is “Let You Down,” featuring Charlotte Sands, and the second is “Ctrl + Alt + Del”. Now that we have four singles off of Complete Collapse, fans cannot wait until the album releases in October, and we get to hear the rest.
As always, Sleeping With Sirens did not disappoint, putting on a phenomenal show. The crowd was singing along to the entire set. There was crowd surfing and even a couple of mosh pits throughout the set. The high-energy set was slowed down halfway through for lead singer Kellin Quinn and guitarist Nick Martin to perform emotionally packed “Better Off Dead” and fan favorite cover of “Iris” by The Goo Goo Dolls. Everything picked back up, though, with the full band coming back onto “Crosses”. They played songs for everyone. No matter how long you have been following Sleeping With Sirens, there was something for you. After an energy-packed show, they played an encore of two classics, “Do It Now Remember Later” and “If You Can’t Hang,” taking all of us back ten years to our middle school and high school bedrooms, dancing around to the iconic songs.
