Stromae Releases "L'enfer" And Announces New Album

On January 12th, 2022, Belgian musician Stromae released new single “L’enfer”. The song will be a track featured on Multitude, which will come out on March 4th of this year.

“L’enfer” is a powerful song full of emotion. Stromae’s lyrics are masterfully created as always, going into some of the deepest feelings a human can have while struggling. He talks about sensitive topics, such as suicidal ideation, paired with music that can’t help but pull at you - and pull hard. It mixes choral elements along with the synth and electronic vibes we get in some of his other songs, giving this song so much power and artistry.

I love Stromae, despite my very limited french knowledge. His songs typically talk about these really deep topics, something I appreciate in a musician. Songs like “​bâtard” discuss hot political topics and the duality of humanity, “Tous les mêmes” talks about gender roles and expectations, and some of his other music discusses mental health issues and struggles as well. Paired with his amazing sound, Stromae’s music never disappoints.

With a well-welcomed return to the music scene with “Santé”, and already high success in the industry, we can’t wait to see what else Stromae has in store for us on Multitude.
