Emarosa Release 7th Studio Album ‘Sting’

Since the last release of ‘Peach Club’ in 2019, it was becoming quite obvious to fans that Emarosa was moving their sound in a different direction and ‘Sting’ really drives home that point. After the bands’ creation in 2006 the band has moved through several different sound changes over the years but they always hit the mark and ‘Sting’ is no different.

The first single off the album ‘Preach’ is the gateway of the 80’s dance themes, mixed with Bradley Walden’s clever stream of consciousness writing style and ER White’s well mixed instrumentals it’s a defining song for the album as a whole.

Sticking with the 80’s theme, the tie-in music video for  ‘Again’ presents us with ‘Teen Wolf’ style visuals with Walden and White covered in fur from head to toe as well as dawning letterman jackets.

With this album being a little slower in tone versus previous albums, Emarosa fans (including myself) will enjoy this homage to 80’s love ballads. Emarosa’s ‘Sting’ releases to the world January 27th, 2023.

Photographer & Writer

My love for concert photography came from my scrolling on tumblr in my high school years, growing more after attending Warped Tour in 2012. Earning my associates degree in the arts from Cochise College in 2017, I started hunting for my next goal. I began my photojournalism journey in 2019 after working for my local newspaper taking shots of anyone and anything. I have a background of short documentaries, video interviewing and editorial shots. My friends tell me I have a plethora of band/music knowledge that I now hope to put to good use.
