Years & Years Release “Sooner or Later”

On January 14th, 2022, artist Years & Years released a new track, “Sooner or Later”. This was the last single released for his album, Night Call, which was released on January 21st.

“Sooner or Later” is an amazing single to finish off on for the build-up to Night Call. It’s a hypnotic song, mixed with choral backing vocals and strong heartbeat-like rhythms. Lyrically, it’s raw and beautiful just like the other singles for this album. The back-and-forth of love, the obsession even when it’s bad… these themes have been carried throughout the album, making for a wonderful collection of songs. “Sooner or Later”s repetition adds to the feeling of falling into the music, and into the experience Years & Years is describing, truly enveloping the listener in it.

I have been a fan of Years & Years since I saw him as an opener years (and years) ago. His music never fails to speak to me, his voice is stunning, and his music itself is so unique and entrancing. I can’t wait to see what else he’s got in store - his success has been building so much since the beginning of his career, and it’s amazing!

After the success of “Sweet Talker” and “Crave”, the other singles from Night Call, it’s easy to see that Years & Years has a lot coming for him in terms of success, especially in this new, badass, and euphoric era.
