On September 2nd, 2021, Animals As Leaders released their new track “Monomyth”, their first song in 5 years, along with a music video. This announcement also came with the band signing a new deal with Sumerian Records.

“Monomyth” carries itself well as an instrumental, paired with a ritualistic choreographed music video. Animals As Leaders set themselves apart as a musical trio that is able to tell a story and paint a vivid picture through their sound - there’s a heavy focus on emotions and the feelings the music conveys, without needing to use lyrics as a vessel. With its technical yet vivid sounds and rhythms, “Monomyth” is a great way for Animals As Leaders to come back into the scene.

With upwards of 200 million streams to date, Animals As Leaders has been a group that has amassed great success amongst a multitude of genres and fans.
