Left at London Releases Bloodlust

On December 16th, musician Nat Puff - known as Left at London - released a new single, “Bloodlust”. After coming up with the lyrics in an Instagram live and fleshing it out from there, the song took a different musical form and was released as a standalone single.

With many songs from her own perspective and discussing her own thoughts and experiences, Left at London takes a turn in “Bloodlust”. The song is from the perspective of someone getting in too deep into their emotions, letting them take over, and falling into committing several murders throughout the song out of passion and desperation. It’s something a lot different from what Left at London lyrically used in her debut album, t.i.a.p.f.y.h., which spoke of her healing journey and struggles. “Bloodlust” is unique, with its harsh rhythms and the coolest cover art - and it doesn’t disappoint in any way. Left at London’s production and lyrical prowess on “Bloodlust” makes for a catchy song for the obsessed, the vengeful, the true-crime fanatics… or those who let their imagination run wild and love a good story.

Left at London’s success, starting off with her renditions and impressions of famous musicians and leading to her debut album and the EPs and singles surrounding it is well deserved and will only climb from here. Her outspokenness and vulnerability, both in her music and in her general presence, is never unnoticed - and she makes some damn good music.
