The two UK natives teamed up for the first time on Bring Me The Horizon's first single OBEY from the 2020 release of POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR.

On September 10th, Cheat Codes released their latest single “Ghost Story”, which features All Time Low. Cheat Codes frequently collaborate with a wide range of artists, ranging from pop stars like Demi Lovato to drummer Travis Barker. 

A bit over a year after releasing her studio album Chromatica, Lady Gaga has released the follow-up remix album titled Dawn Of Chromatica. With smash hits like “Rain On Me” and “Stupid Love”, Chromatica made its mark on pop music in 2020. Dawn Of Chromatica takes the songs in a new direction,  leaning away from the typical sounds of the Billboard charts and dives into the more experimental. With features from artists like Dorian Electra and Arca, this album bridges the gap between radio pop and hyper pop.

On August 26th, virtual band Gorillaz released their latest project Meanwhile EP. The group is fronted by Damon Albarn (of Blur), and artist Jamie Hewlett creates most of the illustrations/artwork. This EP is classic Gorillaz: frequent collaborations and combining various genres. The project consists of 3 tracks and features Jelani Blackman, Barrington Levy, AJ Tracey, and Alicai Harley.

LA songwriter/producer Betty Moon released her 10th studio album COSMICOMA on May 21st. The album contains 8 tracks, one of which was released as a single prior to the album’s release, “My Only One”. The single was well-received and foreshadowed the rest of the album’s sound: rock-influenced and full of powerhouse vocals.

Philadelphia pop-punk band Grayscale recently released “Babylon (Say It To My Face)”, the second single off their upcoming third studio album. The single was released on August 4th, and the full album will be released later this month. The band’s last studio album was released in 2019, so their upcoming album Umbra is highly anticipated.

Following their 2019 acoustic project, Annie’s Takeout is preparing to release their first studio EP, titled Twister EP. While the release date hasn’t been confirmed yet, this is definitely a project that you’re going to want to keep your eye out for. The first single “Rooms Tinted T.V. Blue” was released on June 11th, and the second single “Oh, Wow” was just released on July 24th. 

After over a year without any releases, Normani has made her return to music with her latest single “Wild Side”, which features Cardi B. Normani’s last release was when she featured on “Diamonds” with Megan Thee Stallion back in January of 2020, so this was a long-awaited comeback.

British five-piece Easy Life released their debut album “Life’s A Beach” on May 28th, just in time for the beginning of summer. The album entered the U.K. charts at number 2, and quickly became the soundtrack for summer 2021.

On June 11th, 22-year-old singer-songwriter Clairo released her first single from her upcoming album: a vulnerable, raw track titled Blouse. Her second album Sling, co-produced with Jack Antonoff, will be released on July 16th. The album was announced after her performance of Blouse on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and is an eagerly anticipated project following the success of her debut album Immunity.

In 2011, thirteen-year-old Rebecca Black was thrown into the music scene when her track Friday achieved infamous virality on the internet. Ten years later, she’s still present in music: now 23, openly queer, and with a fairly large audience on TikTok. Her social media journey has been interesting, but her musical journey even more so. Her latest project Rebecca Black Is Here, a 6 track EP, was released on June 16th.
